U.S. Soldiers from 1-68 AR Platoon Level Live Fire in Latvia,Science & Technology,,ADAZI, LATVIA 04.09.2017 Video by Sgt. Joshua Joyner 7th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment U.S. Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 68th Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division conducted a platoon level live fire in Adazi, Latvia. The live fire focused on working with engagement area development, fire distribution and it also simulated radio communications and global positioning systems failing so flags were used to direct fire between each vehicle. The 1st Bn., 68th Armor Reg. is deployed to Europe as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, a U.S. led effort in Eastern Europe that demonstrates U.S. commitment to the collective security of NATO and dedication to enduring peace and stability in the region.
