Кошелек-револьвер под шпилечный патрон
Кошелек-револьвер (бумажник-револьвер), ориентировочно выпущенный в 70 — 80-е годы девятнадцатого века бельгийскими оружейниками.Оружие представляет собой револьвер, встроенный в металлическую коробку, состоящую из двух секций, которую можно принять за кошелек, шкатулку или портсигар. Коробка шириной 65 мм, диной 105 мм, изготовлена из металла желтого цвета и состоит из двух отсеков. Крышки отсеков шарнирно закреплены на одной из торцевых сторон коробки. Крышки отделаны кожей.
Первый более тонкий отсек – представляет собой обычный кошелек с несколькими отделами. Отсек открывается с помощью подпружиненной кнопки, расположенной на торцевой поверхности.
Второй отсек большего размера, в нем закреплен стреляющий механизм, напоминающий шпилечный револьвер. Второй отсек открывается с помощью, поворачивающейся на оси, защелки.
Барабан стреляющего механизма цилиндрический, не имеет долов, на поверхности барабана имеются лишь выступающие зубцы, для фиксации положения камор барабана. Кошелек револьвер имеет барабан с шестью каморами для размещения шпилечных патронов. В основании барабана имеются вырезы для размещения шпилек патронов. С правой стороны рамки стреляющего устройства имеется дверца, которая открывается вверх-вправо.
Ствол стреляющего устройства длиной примерно 10 мм, канал ствола гладкий и не имеет нарезов, калибр ствола 5мм. Ствол закрыт в походном положении специальной заслонкой. Ударно спусковой механизм стреляющего устройства самовзводный, курок не имеет спицы для ручного взведения.
Спусковой крючок складной и в походном положении скрыт в пазу корпуса кошелька. Для перевода оружия в боевое положение необходимо открыть заслонку ствола, при этом спусковой крючок выдвигается из паза и оружие готово для стрельбы. Для перезаряжания оружия необходимо открыть отсек со стреляющим устройством.
Бумажник-револьвер на крышке второго отсека имеет встроенный шомпол.
На торцевой поверхности кошелька между кнопками имеется маркировочный текст «FRANKENAU’S PATENT»,
серийный номер оружия наносился на казенной части корпуса револьвера, на рамке и в некоторых случаях барабане стреляющего устройства имеется клеймо в виде литеры «V», расположенной под короной.
Оригинальная конструкция оружия получилась и довольно практичной с целью обеспечения безопасности своего кошелька, ведь для того чтобы защититься от грабителя достаточно было протянуть ему свой кошелек и … выстрелить из него.
