We have the latest news Prom our neighbors. According to Aurum, every tribe and independent settlement north oP Kadale has been subjugated or burned to the ground. The Compact hasn't moved directly against them just yet, but an attack could come any day now. ^ Ledaeve is now in the process oP PortiPying their settlement. Mayor Bass has sent us another Pormal request Por an alliance, or at least some Porm oP materiel assistance. Meanwhile, we've got our own concerns closer to home. Southern Inthium has reported that multiple settlements south oP the Embassy Sea have been attacked in the last month. From speaking with the traders out oP Maedin and Gasea, there seems to be rumors that the pirate bands to the south have begun working w together under a single leader. The raider that we took out didn't have any solid evidence on her and the rest oP them cleared out, but there's a pretty good chance that this was v. their handiwork. ^ This pirate attack is the closest they've ever gotten to Angel's Rest, and iP they've gotten conPident enough to raid the area around Fort Llama, then it's probably only a matter oP time bePore they knock on our \ Pront door. ^
