8 hr. ago <- My job lied about being fully vegan So i got the interview, everything was fine, they were so stoked that I was vegan, too! They said the job would be perfect for me.... I came in today, and found out the one non vegan thing they serve is COW'S BREAST MILK. FOR THE COFFEES/LATTES. WHY????? WHY GOD WHY? I was previously homeless for a bit and i just got this job, today was my first day! I was so happy to have a vegan job but no, they're vegetarian. I feel so guilty, i don't view cow's milk as human food at all. i don't support the cruelty. My last job was FULLY vegan, but they fired me after i was sick for two months, (i feel like this is illegal but i dont know much about these things) I'm really upset over this, but i need this job to get back on my feet. What would you do in my situation? Obviously i should keep the job because i need it to survive, and there are no other vegan jobs hiring in my area and i'm lucky to have found this vegetarian job. Let me know if this is bad, i have no idea, i wanted to be vegan in every area of my life and i feel like a fraud now. an evil thing, i'm so disappointed :/
