"BrightUiing Brightwings are an extremely rare type of dragon that are generally friendly in demeanor though possessing the innate strength of warding off unfamiliar presence. A brightwing is fully sentient, and are able to assume a humanoid form as well. Since their very presence act as a ward against strange threats, many would attempt to either negotiate with them for their protection or forcefully capture them and use them for their protective abilities Bright Tears Once a brightwing sheds a tear, their tears would start out as liquid and quickly crystalize. These crystals have some warding potential against Unfamiliars, though their effectiveness diminishes over time. Imprisoned Brightwings are often tortured so they would cry, and the resulting tears are made into protective amulets for Exalted soldiers Bright Feathers Bright Feathers are used for a variety of things. To mages, they are used as one of the finest quills to write a spellbook, they retain ink very effectively as well as being an effective catalyst for enchantments. Another use for them is simply for their levitational abilities, with enough bright feathers one could create a cloak that would be able to lift someone to the skies, making them effectively weightless!
