[SFM] A Fragile Dream - Saxxy Awards 2013 Finalist,Film,,I love how hard people hated this video but it still got nominated. My Saxxy 2013 entry. A woman in post-apocalypse city has a dream to bring life and beauty back to the world devastated by nuclear war, but her husband must carry out her wishes in her stead. Vote here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=194441356 I intended this to be a summary of all my other videos...you'll notice familiar elements taken from Mirrorage, Crystallize, Pestilence, and All's Fair. This was made entirely within a custom version of black_void, where there are no models or lights but it is 2048x2048 in size, giving me plenty of space to make full-sized cityscapes. You can see a render test here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs7E-TdXNmw There were a number of problems when making this...one was the audio export problem, many of the sound effects were cut in half for no reason and also thrown out of sync. This wasn't fixed, I'm sorry, so you might hear thunder not in-sync with lightning. Another was multiple issues with particles...I fixed as many as I could. For some reason my body animations were less quality in this...I guess I had been so frustrated over particle issues that I neglected realism. My voice was recorded with a very poor mic, I do apologize, and I will put subtitles on for you if you have trouble understanding.
