Russian Satellite Falling to Earth (Meteor M),People & Blogs,Meteor M,Roscosmos,Satellite,Space,NASA,I posted this on my twitter and it has certainly made us rounds across the science world. It was captured by my colleague flying back from Montreal to London on a British Airways flight on the 28th of November 2017, my colleague being a pilot for BA on a Boeing 787 . It is highly likely to be the Meteor M satellite that hadn't entered orbit properly and subsequently failed. Despite a lot of hard earned effort and money gone into this project, there is no denying that the fall is beautiful to watch. Dave did note the exact location of the aircraft at the time, and those coordinates coincide with the whereas ours of the satellite's path. At the time many other pilots in that area had seen the object in the sky, and made reference to their whereabouts too. The ORIGINAL poster of this is @sussexinscouse on IG and Twitter, and I posted it on my twitter where it caught the attention of many people @ThatJetsetGirl. It has been posted on here, and in most cases not correctly crediting the original poster. This is the original.
