Five good reasons why - PC will always be king,Games,,Gaming on the PC will always be the absolute best way to play games. Here are five good reasons why! 1. Mouse and keyboard support Console kids who have grown up with a controller in hand might argue, but there's still no better way of playing just about any game than the keyboard and mouse combination. It just works, offering orders of magnitude more precision and speed than fiddly analogue sticks. And for action games that require a controller, you can simple plug one in. 2. Upgradeable hardware With higher resolutions and better textures, chances are a brand new high end PC already looks better than anything the PS4 or Xbox One will be able produce. But even if you can't afford a beast right now, prices drop so quickly that it's hardly bank-breaking to refit your rig in a year or so. 3. Free mods PC gamers have been coding mods such as add-ons, total conversions, unofficial levels and all manner of other downloadable goodness for... well, pretty much forever. And they have been distributing it for free, for the sheer love of it. Play Skyrim on the PC with a couple of mods and you will never want to touch the console version again. 4. Cheaper games Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo's licensing and publishing costs inevitably drive up the cost of every single game released. Even pre-owned games tend to be far pricier than the PC equivalent. Steam on the other hand lets you pick up plenty of amazing games for ridiculous low prices. We can't wait to see what this year's summer sale has in store for us. 5. Free online play With Sony also charging money for online multiplayer on the PS4, it's impossible to play console games online without paying a monthly fee. Ok, you COULD stick to the Wii U for your online multiplayer needs but who wants to do that? Things are much better on the pc side with free online multiplayer for everyone!
