Remained unknown until the 13th century KDS when Sjeti scientists observed it crossing the face of the sun. Long thought to be too hazardous to attempt exploration and remained unexplored during the mothership launch. Named after a witness spirit found in Manaani superstition. ^ A DOIMOA Named after the forge Sajuuk used to create the heavens. Donoa Is the first other planetary body discovered by Kharakian science. Only three probes have returned useful information about Donoa's mineral wealth. Following the mothership launch the Daiimid had intended to send missions to mine Donoa for replenishment materials for kharak. These plans never came to pass. HARRSUK KHARAK Harrsuk Is the largest of the two gas giants in the Kharak system, orbited by three large moons and countless smaller sattelites. a three-ship mission here to retreieve gasses needed for the mothership was launched In 1214. Of these three only the "Inabrah-Beh" returned to deliver its cargo. "Orinnouk" was destroyed by the Turanic Raiders during the destruction of Kharak on the return journey. "Ashaan-Deh" is still missing to this day. KHARAK A Kharak is the adopted home planet of the Kushan people. Primarily a desert planet, Kharak Is reaching the end of Its geological activity. Only the polar regions are comfortable for human life, most of the planet is covered by a vast desert. In spite of the harsh conditions the Kushan people managed to rebuild their civilization and discovered the truth of their origins. At the time of the mothership's launch Kharak’s population was about 300 million. In 1216 Kharak was destroyed by Tandon Atmospheric Deprivation warheads, leaving no survivors. The dead world remains a tomb to all those left behind when the mothership departed on its fateful hyperspace test. HYPERsPAce lesi jons GRAVE Of KHAR-SEIIM IMYSSEA I Nyssea was first classified as an oort I cloud object until its mass was I recalculated by Aeam S’jet in 1037, also designating It as a planet. Nyssea was the destination of the Aghora 10 probe launched I concurrently with the Khar-Selim. That probe was stili-en route to rendezvous with Nyssea in 1238 but with no guidance it likely drifted into I intergalactic space. KHARAK SYSTEM The Kharak system is situated on the outer edge of our Spiral Galaxy along a secondary arm populated mainly by stars in the early to middle stages of the main sequence. In comparison to other local systems the Kharak system is fairly ordinary. Exploration of the Kharak system did not begin until 1024 with the launch of the Silumlln exploration vehicle into low Kharak orbit. Following the discovery of alien materials in Kharak orbit, and then after 1106 with the discovery of the Khar-Toba, the exploration of space became a larger priority. However, the Kushan space program had to be divided between mothership construction and practical fact-finding of the system. As resources were pooled into the construction of the scaffold many exploration projects were delayed, and eventually cancelled, for the lack of resources and prioritization. In the end the construction of the Mothership was deemed more important than examining the Kharak system and, accordingly, the Kushan people knew little about their own home system. It Is still unknown how the Turanic Raiders were able to happen upon Kharak, though It is suspected imperial agents seeded the Oort cloud with ancient monitoring satellites to monitor the system. Atter the detection of hyperspace signatures, the Empire directed Turanic mercenaries to attack anyone leaving the system, and then the Imperial 489th Border patrol force was dispatched to destroy Kharak. The timing was just so that the patrol force missed the Mothership's return by a matter of hours. The Kharak system has remained abandoned by the Hiigarans since their departure in 1216 (Galactic Standard Year 9510). Its location remains a secret known only to the Hiigaran Dallmld. To date no known visitors have returned to Kharak since its destruction by forbidden atmospheric deprivation warheads. Fanwork for Blackbird Interactive (Homeworld) SI NYSSEA EHAAIM TALAAS L A Talaas was discovered In 932 and at first was thought to be an alien spacecraft until disproven in 1037 by Aeam S'jet, who calculated Talaas' mass to be in the range of most planetary bodies. Spectrograph analysis of Talaas' surface however does contain trace elements of materials similar to the Khar-Toba's construction. Exploration to this planetoid was planned, but never completed. Second gas giant in the Kharak system, remarkable for an unusually strong magnetic field. Concerns over this field affecting hyperspace transitions were eased when several probes successfully arrived and departed from Ehaan's high orbit. Ehaan was to be the test subject of the Mothership's new planetary sensor array. This test was abandoned when Khar-Selim was found destroyed. When we compare our understanding of our solar system to the depiction on the Guidestone we can read clear inconsistencies. The Guidestone portrait does not depict the planetary bodies beyond Ehaan, and the innermost body laeda is not accounted for. While no reason for this can be found on the Khar-Toba itself, it is suspected that only a cursory scan of the system from a distance was all that informed the Guidestone map when it was created.
