Hawk steals two 14 day old baby robins right out of nest,Pets & Animals,Hawk,Robin's,Nest,The baby robins where ready to fly and we expected them to leave the nest today... just not in this fashion. The third one jumped out on his own and I saw him on the ground by the nest. He flew about 30' to some bushes for cover. Both parents were close by. I read somewhere that robins have a 25% survival rate, I thought we'd beaten the odds.
