Такие случаи ведь были в самом начале вв1 когда все считали, что это будет благородной битвой великих наций? А через пару лет все друг-друга искренне ненавидели? Любители истории поясните.

Да нет, людям хотелось праздника, и они его устроили. Но после этого верховное командование антанты приказало всеми силами не допускать подобного, хотя преценденты были в течении всей войны, в том числе и на восточном фронте.
