Guitar lesson - Vivaldi's "Storm" & "Passage to the reaper" by C.O.B. performed by Alexi Laiho,Music,,Alexi Laiho, the lead guitarist and vocalist of Children of Bodom and also the guitarist of Sinergy and Kylähullut, is performing the main parts of Antonio Vivaldi's "Storm" (3rd movement of the Summer Theme). The aforementioned is part of the composition "Four Seasons". After that, Laiho plays the instrumental piece "Passage to the reaper" by C.O.B. His fellow guitarist, Roope Latvala, does his part, too. The compositions are played in their entirety and then they get divided into sectors, which are played in various speed rates. The overall tempo is presto (fast) and the tuning of the guitars is the D standard (DGCFAd) and not the E standard, as I'd previously written by mistake - something that some of you have rightfully but very rudely pointed out. Well, thanks for the correction, but also fuck you very much for the attitude of your comments. For further comprehension, you can use a couple of descent tabs. I found this one depicting "Storm" (despite the fact it's wrongfully titled after the second composition, "Passage to the reaper") and it's both precise and accurate (although it states an E standard tuning): http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/c/children_of_bodom/passage_to_the_reaper_tab.htm I hope you'll find this demonstration as useful as I did. It surely helped me out a lot, especially the "Storm" part - Vivaldi's compositions are some really tough motherfuckers. And Alexi Laiho may look like a crack whore, but he's also one god damn excellent guitarist. I do not own this video etc, etc, etc... OK, YouTube people? Enjoy!
