В новой редакции убрали "расы" и теперь это "виды" - но главное изменение не в этом характеристики никак не связаны с "видом" - то есть "вид" это просто внешний скин вашего персонажа: атрибуты, происхождения, мировоззрения и вроде как размеры персонажа никак не зависят.
Орк пацифист не умеющий сражаться с 18 харизмы и 4 телосложения? Пожалуйста. Полурослик двух метров роста - конечно, новый D&D направлен на репрезентацию любых вещей кроме здравого смысла.
