Your War of the Vikings Alpha Key
Congratulations, brave warrior!
The time has come for you to release your glorious beard - imaginary or real - like a furious ***** on the battlefields of 9th and 10th century England, and join the War of the Vikings Alpha test!
Anybody who either signed up five friends via the Alpha Signup page, or who owns a copy of War of the Roses: Kingmaker, is eligible to play during this test period. If you own War of the Roses, the Alpha will appear automatically in your Steam library.
This email is sent to you because you have been accepted into the Alpha via the Alpha Signup Page. You can use your Alpha key by selecting “Activate a Product on Steam” from the Games menu. If you own Kingmaker AND you've also recieved this email it means you can give your extra Alpha key away to a fellow Viking!

To discuss the Alpha with fellow community members or give feedback regarding the game, please only use our dedicated channels at SteamHub to avoid breaking the NDA.
Please note that there will be limited room for players to join the game during this test phase. There will be 4,000 player slots during the test, so if you can’t log in right away, please be patient and try again later. The test will run from August 22 at 09:00 CEST (12am PST) to September 1 at 02:00 CEST (11:59pm PST) so you have over a week to help us test!
During the test, we’ll be trying out Pitched Arena mode on the Monastery and Gauntlet maps. You’ll have your choice of three character classes: The Warrior (an all-around medium class with a sword/shield and throwing axes), The Huscarl (a heavy melee fighter with a big giant axe), and The Scout (a light ranged class with a longbow and axe).
